We understand that our users trust us with personal details about their lives, challenges, and growth. We take that trust seriously.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you use our mobile application and website. It is designed to comply with applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

- Service Delivery: To create your account, generate your "Playbook," and track your progress.
- AI-Powered Coaching: We use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process the goals and challenges you enter to generate personalized steps and advice.
- Safety & Compliance: To verify your age, obtain parental consent when required, and ensure the safety of our platform.
- Internal Improvement: To fix bugs (via Sentry) and understand which features are most helpful (via PostHog).
- Communication: To send you service-related notifications (e.g., "Schedule Updated") or parental consent verifications (via Resend).
We do not use Sensitive Personal Information (e.g., your challenges) for any purpose other than providing the direct services you requested.
4. Selling and Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell your Personal Information.
We do not share your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use "pixels" from advertising networks (such as Facebook or Google Ads) that track you across other websites.
Service Providers We disclose data to the following categories of trusted "Service Providers" who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements:

5. Children’s Privacy & COPPA Compliance
Protecting the privacy of minors is a priority. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- Age Gating: We collect Date of Birth during sign-up to determine the user's age.
- Users Under 13: We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 without verified Parental Consent.
- "Email Plus" Verification: If a user is under 13, we require a parent's email address. We send a direct notice to the parent, who must verify consent via a secure link. We then send a follow-up confirmation email.
- No Third-Party Sharing: We strictly do not share personal information of minors with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Data Retention

- Active Accounts: We retain data while your account is active to provide the service.

- Deleted Accounts: When an account is deleted (by you or due to inactivity), your personal identifiers are removed from our active databases immediately. Residual copies in backup systems are securely destroyed within 90 days.

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or email. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Dispute Resolution
9.1 Binding Arbitration
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in San Francisco County, California (or another mutually agreed location). You waive your right to a trial by jury. The American Arbitration Association shall be responsible for managing all aspects of the dispute on behalf of Lunabeam Labs.
9.2 Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE THAT ANY CLAIMS WILL BE ADJUDICATED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, AND YOU WAIVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
10. "Do Not Track" Signals
We do not track our customers over time and across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.
